HostBreach is a boutique advisory firm built to help defense contractors and growing businesses make better cybersecurity decisions without turning every problem into a software sale.

My background is in federal security engineering and compliance. I designed and defended controls inside a FedRAMP Cyber Fusion Center, responded to incidents like SolarWinds and Log4j, and spent a decade in the U.S. Navy Reserve with deployments to intelligence commands and the Office of Naval Intelligence.
The goal is not to spend more on security—it is to get the right return from every dollar: become a harder target, contain the blast radius when something gets through, and respond and recover fast. Businesses should understand the exposure attackers can use for initial unauthorized access before committing major security spend. HostBreach combines threat-informed advisory with an outside-in intelligence layer so priorities are tied to observable conditions, business impact, and the controls that reduce risk.

Recommendations are based on the client’s context, risk, and obligations—not on a need to sell a security platform.
When passive external intelligence can improve the decision, we use it—and we clearly separate observation from internal validation.
CMMC readiness, ongoing vCISO leadership, or a focused external exposure review can all begin with the same short fit conversation.
